A happy accident,
Accidental Alchemy began, as many wonderful things do, with a bit of an accident. Or rather, an unexpected event that led to something truly magical. Our journey started with Faye, who found herself facing a problem close to home. Her brother had undergone major reconstructive hip surgery and was grappling with immense pain during his recovery. Determined to help, Faye turned to her knowledge of natural remedies. She blended a balm infused with magnesium, arnica and other carefully chosen ingredients. The result? A dramatic reduction in pain and a quicker recovery than anyone had anticipated.
Word spread quickly. Small batches of Faye’s balm made their way to a local yoga studio, where it was embraced with open arms (and achy shoulders). The community affectionately dubbed it “Wonder Balm” as people discovered its seemingly magical ability to ease everything from pulled muscles and bad backs to migraines and period cramps.

But the story doesn’t stop there. As it turns out, a knack for alchemy runs in the family. Faye’s mum, inspired by her own journey managing fibromyalgia, developed a magnesium-rich balm that quickly became a household staple. It even worked wonders for Faye’s young nephew, helping him sleep through the night for the first time when applied to his feet.
The magic caught on at home, too. Faye’s partner Dan experienced the transformative power of the balm during his recovery from a broken foot and later found it indispensable for post-gym recovery. So inspired was Dan by the balm’s potential to help others that he joined the team, bringing his passion and energy to grow Accidental Alchemy into something much bigger.
Today, Accidental Alchemy is a family-run brand with a big heart and an even bigger mission. We want to bring natural solutions into as many homes as possible, helping people feel nurtured, supported, and empowered.
